My name is Donna Dolan and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-R) with over 20 years of experience as a therapist dedicated to helping people on their path to emotional well-being.   I’m here to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and in control of your emotional well-being. More about me

My path began with a passion for understanding people and systems. From sociology to social work, I found a powerful blend of theory and practice. My first internship in an inpatient hospital showed me the profound impact of being present during vulnerable moments. That experience shaped my commitment to this work.

I accept the following commercial insurances: Anthem BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health, Carelon, and United Healthcare Medicare Advantage. I am currently unable to accept Medicaid or any HMO plans. 


You can also choose to self-pay for services through Zelle or Venmo. The self-pay rate is $150 per session. 

Teletherapy

I understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why I offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect for therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home. Teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.

What to expect in our first session

 

Your first session includes:


  • Getting to know each other
  • Gathering background information
  • Identifying your goals
  • Collaborating on a treatment plan
  • Setting a regular schedule


We typically meet weekly at first, then shift to biweekly as progress is made. If you’re nervous, that’s completely normal—I’ll walk you through everything so you feel supported from the start.
